Reporting distances from a selected polygon

Hi all, a new user here.

My work has migrated over from Arcgis to StatMap and I am wondering if there is a way when using the select tool with buffer, to determine the distance of another feature within the buffer, from the original selected polygon. Ideally it would be great for that distance to be reported in the table.

Im basically using the select tool as reporting tool to interrogate layers.

Unfortunately, I cannot think of any option for viewing information on distance between records while using Select tool with a buffer.

Could you please let me know if using the Find Nearest tool from Map tab would suit your needs?

I would suggest inspecting a record in location from which you would like to start counting the distance. Next, in the Find Nearest tool, please pick a layer from a drop-down and enable the “To: Inspected record” option.
